Aries this week
This week: 25 Oct to 31 Oct 2026
Moon in your sign opens a week of Mercury tangles
Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio from Saturday evening, and for Aries it sits in the 8th house of shared things and loose ends. Old tangles over who owes what tend to resurface until it turns direct on 14 November. Saturn is also retrograde, still in your own sign and 1st house, so the slow job of tidying how you show up carries on. Venus slips back into Libra on Sunday night, warming your 7th house of partners.
Mars and Jupiter in Leo light up the 5th house of fun and play, which gives the week a loose, social feel. The Moon is in Aries on Sunday, so that is a Play day. The full moon in Taurus lands Monday at 3:12 pm and brings a Rest day, then Wednesday and Thursday are Play again. Friday is Light play, and Saturday’s Cancer Moon asks for a Rest day. Cook something and get to bed early.

About Aries
Aries opens the zodiac, and the sign carries that front-of-the-queue energy. People born under it are traditionally described as direct, quick to start things and quicker to say what they think. Ruled by Mars, the planet of drive, Aries is the sign most associated with action over deliberation.
The flip side, according to the same tradition, is impatience. Aries can charge into a plan before checking the details, and lose interest when things slow down. Friends tend to describe them as loyal and a bit competitive, the type who turns a casual kick-around into a proper match.
As a cardinal fire sign, Aries is a starter rather than a finisher. The astrological advice for the sign is usually the same: pace yourself, finish one thing, then pick the next. It is a fun lens for thinking about your own habits, not a science, and plenty of Aries enjoy ignoring it.
Aries lucky numbers
Each week we pick three numbers for every sign using a simple mix of the sign and the dates, purely for fun. This week’s Aries numbers are 2, 3 and 30. Nothing about them is predictive, so treat them like a favourite footy jersey number. If a number means something to you, such as a birthday or a street address, that is a better reason to enjoy it than anything in the sky.
In numerology folklore, 9 is traditionally linked to Aries through Mars, with 1 often added for the sign’s first-in-line character. Our lucky numbers guide explains the method. Pokies run on a random number generator, so no number, sign or day can change a result.
Aries’s Pokie Sign: The Fast Starter
Aries tends to like games that get moving straight away: short intros, quick spins and a bit of drama. In free demo mode, pick something with big swings and plenty of action, then notice how it feels to play. Quick-hit games can burn through a session faster than you expect, so keep an eye on the clock.
Budget habits matter more than themes. The classic Aries risk is going again before thinking, so set a session length before you start and use a timer. A demo costs nothing, which makes it a good place to practise walking away when the timer goes. Gambling is for adults 18 and over, and it should only ever be entertainment.
- Wanted Dead or a Wild: Fast, gritty and full of action, which suits an impatient starter.
- Zeus vs Hades: A mythic clash with big swings for a competitive streak.
- Money Train 4: Busy bonus rounds keep a restless sign entertained.
Free demo mode: play money only, no sign-up, nothing to deposit.
Who Aries gets on with
Astrologers traditionally pair Aries with the other fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius, for shared energy and humour. Gemini and Aquarius, the air signs, are also said to get on well because they feed the fire. Libra, the opposite sign, brings contrast and some friction. Does astrology change my chances on the pokies?
No. Pokies run on a random number generator, so no sign, number, colour or Moon phase changes the result. Treat astrology as a bit of fun, play only with a budget you can afford, and if gambling is no longer fun, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858.
