Gemini this week
This week: 25 Oct to 31 Oct 2026
Mercury retrograde hits your ruling planet this week
Mercury rules Gemini, so its retrograde in Scorpio matters more for you than for most signs. It stations retrograde on Saturday evening in your 6th house of routine and health, which tends to show up as small hiccups: a missed appointment, a muddled schedule, a message sent to the wrong person. Double-check the details until it turns direct on 14 November.
Venus slips back into Libra on Sunday night, in your 5th house of fun and play, which makes a lighter, more social week easy to enjoy. Mars and Jupiter in Leo are in your 3rd house of talk and short trips, so chatter and quick catch-ups come naturally. Saturn, retrograde in Aries, sits in the 11th house of friends and groups.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are your Play days, with the Moon in Gemini. Sunday and Saturday are Light play, and Monday and Tuesday are Rest while the Moon (and Monday’s full moon in Taurus at 3:12 pm) passes next door. Use those two days for reading, a drive or a long phone call.

About Gemini
Gemini is the sign of the twins, and it is traditionally associated with curiosity and a talent for conversation. Ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, Geminis are said to be quick thinkers who pick up new information fast and enjoy sharing it.
The same tradition points to a restless streak. As a mutable air sign, Gemini adapts easily and can juggle several projects at once, but may lose interest before finishing any of them. Friends describe them as funny and talkative, and hard to pin down for a Saturday plan.
Gemini is said to feel most at home when there is variety: a new subject, a new face, a new route home. The tradition also says Geminis can be of two minds on a decision, which is where the twin symbol comes from. Geminis are also said to be the ones who text back within seconds and then forget the plan an hour later. Take all of this as a light-hearted lens, not a fact about your personality.
Gemini lucky numbers
Every week we pick three numbers for each sign from the sign and the dates, just for fun. This week’s Gemini numbers are 6, 41 and 44, and they carry no predictive power. Use them for a trivia night, not a strategy. If a number means something to you, such as a birthday or a house number, that is a better reason to like it than anything in the sky.
In numerology folklore, 5 is traditionally linked to Gemini through Mercury, the planet of messages and movement. Our lucky numbers guide explains how we pick. Pokies run on a random number generator, so no number, sign or day can change a result.
Gemini’s Pokie Sign: The Quick-Change Artist
Gemini tends to enjoy variety, so games with a lively pace, bright visuals and frequent changes of scene suit the sign. In free demo mode, try a few different games for short stints rather than one for a long time.
The budget habit that fits is a hard time limit. Gemini’s attention moves quickly, which is handy for switching games and less handy for tracking how long you have been playing. Set a phone alarm before you start, decide your spending limit in advance, and keep to both. The demos below cost nothing, so you can sample plenty without any pressure to settle on one.
- Sugar Rush: Bright, fast and colourful for a quick-moving mind.
- Le Bandit: A playful character with cheeky twists and turns.
- Plinko: Simple, quick drops suit short bursts of attention.
Free demo mode: play money only, no sign-up, nothing to deposit.
Who Gemini gets on with
Astrologers traditionally pair Gemini with the other air signs, Libra and Aquarius, for easy conversation and shared curiosity. The fire signs, Aries and Leo, are also said to make lively company. Sagittarius, the opposite sign, brings a spark and a lot of arguing about trivia. See the compatibility guide for more.
