Scorpio this week
This week: 25 Oct to 31 Oct 2026
Scorpio season meets Mercury retrograde in your sign
This is your season, and it comes with a catch. The Sun is in Scorpio, in your 1st house of self, and so is Mercury, which turns retrograde on Saturday evening, 24 October, at 21 degrees of your sign. It then backs up through Scorpio until it turns direct on 14 November at 5 degrees. For three weeks, expect old conversations and old versions of yourself to come back for another look. Re-read messages before sending them, and back up your phone.
Venus returns to Libra on Sunday night at 9:30 pm, into your 12th house of rest and retreat, a hint to keep the weekend private. Monday’s full moon in Taurus at 3:12 pm sits opposite your sign, so Sunday and Monday are Rest days. Tuesday to Friday are Light play, with the Gemini moon at an awkward angle. Saturday, with the Moon in Cancer trine, is the only Play day. Use the quiet days for a long walk or a proper cook-up.

About Scorpio
Scorpio is the fixed water sign, traditionally ruled by Mars, with modern astrologers adding Pluto. It has a reputation for intensity, and the reputation is partly earned. Scorpios tend to feel deeply, keep secrets well and notice what people are not saying. They are loyal to a small circle and slow to trust anyone outside it.
The shadow side, as astrologers tell it, is holding on. A Scorpio can nurse a grudge for years, test the people close to them, and find it hard to say what they actually need. They are also stubborn, since this is a fixed sign, and private to the point of being mysterious on purpose. Behind the poker face there is usually a dry sense of humour and a very long memory for kindness.
That is the tradition. Astrology is a fun lens, not a science, and one sign never describes a whole person. Exact dates shift by a day some years, so our free birth chart calculator can check yours.
Scorpio lucky numbers
This week’s numbers for Scorpio are 3, 20 and 31. We pick them from the sign and the week’s sky using a fixed method, just for fun. In numerology folklore Scorpio is linked to the number 9 through Mars, and sometimes 4 gets a mention too. These are old traditions, not predictions, and they are treated as a bit of trivia for the group chat. Pokies run on a random number generator, so a number on this page has no influence on any spin. Our lucky numbers guide covers where the folklore comes from.
Scorpio’s Pokie Sign: The Private Spinner
Scorpio temperament is drawn to mystery, so games with dark, ancient or secretive themes tend to fit: buried tombs, gunslingers, hidden treasure. In free demo mode, that means moody visuals and big swings between quiet stretches and sudden action. It suits a sign that likes tension.
The budget habit for Scorpio is to keep the intensity in check. Fixed signs find it hard to leave a session once they are invested, so set the limit and the finish time beforehand and treat them as non-negotiable. Mercury retrograde is a good reason to be extra careful with settings and amounts. If a session gets tense instead of fun, switch it off and do something with your hands.
- Book of Dead: Dark tomb theme with plenty of mystery.
- Wanted Dead or a Wild: Gritty outlaw feel with big swings.
- Le Pharaoh: Hidden treasure and ancient secrets, with a moody tone.
Free demo mode: play money only, no sign-up, nothing to deposit.
Who Scorpio gets on with
Traditionally Scorpio pairs well with the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces, who understand its depth. Earth signs Virgo and Capricorn are said to give it steadiness. Leo and Aquarius, the other fixed signs, can lock horns with Scorpio’s stubborn side. Read more in our sign compatibility guide.

Scorpio questions
What are Scorpio’s lucky numbers this week?
For 25 to 31 October 2026, Scorpio’s lucky numbers are 3, 20 and 31, with blue as the lucky colour. They are picked for fun from the sign and the week, and they have no effect on any pokie result.
What is Scorpio’s lucky day this week?
Scorpio’s lucky day this week is Saturday 31 October, when the Moon in Cancer trines your sign. It is the week’s only Play day, which means a day that suits relaxed, budgeted entertainment with a set limit. It does not mean better odds, because every spin is random.
What dates are Scorpio?
Scorpio covers roughly 23 October to 21 November. Exact dates shift by a day some years, so if your birthday sits close to the edge, our birth chart calculator will confirm your Sun sign. It is a fun lens, not a science, so the dates are a guide only.
Does astrology change my chances on the pokies?
No. Pokies run on a random number generator, and the Moon, Mercury and your lucky numbers have no effect on it. Play only for fun, with a budget you set beforehand. If it is no longer fun, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au.
